Breathwork is the therapeutic practice of intentional breathing. It is a holistic therapy modality used to promote a stronger mind-body connection, develop deeper self awareness and explore introspectively. Breathwork is a way to infuse the body with oxygen and recharge our innate healing ability.
Breathwork has the potential to reduce stress, anxiety and depression, promote emotional processing. increase energy, improve sleep and boost immunity.
I offer group and private breathwork sessions in Whitby, depending on needs and preference. Please reach out if you would like to schedule an individual breathwork session.
Conscious Connected Breathing
Conscious connected breathing, also known as circular breathing, is the practice of breathing with no pause between inhalation and exhalation. Guided conscious connected breathing shifts in our physiology and allows us to explore altered states of consciousness and tap into our deeper internal resources.
SHERPA Breathing
SHERPA is the practice of using different breathing styles and techniques to guide participants through a journey of downregulating or upregulating their own nervous system. This method of breathing unlocks new layers of connection to improve emotional and physical wellbeing.
Investment of $80 (receipts are provided for insurance coverage, please check with your provider to ensure they offer coverage for registered psychotherapists)
This event will include intention setting, guided conscious connected breathing, reflections and integration practices.
