Therapy for life transitions focuses on helping individuals navigate significant changes or milestones in their lives, such as moving away to University, changing careers, getting married, becoming a parent, or blending families. Therapy for life transitions helps individuals manage the emotional, mental, and practical aspects of significant life changes, fostering growth and personal development as they adjust to new phases in their lives.
Standard 50 minute session
Through individual therapy, you will be able to increase your self-awareness, build your self-compassion and learn new ways of coping. Together, we will work collaboratively to determine your therapy goals and create a plan for lasting change.
80 minute session
Family therapy is designed to help families improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships. It offers a safe space for parents, children, and teens to express their thoughts and feelings, allowing each family member to better understand one another, improve communication and develop skills for problem-solving.
50 minute session
Through parent/ caregiver support we aim to empower caregivers to actively participate in their loved one's mental health and wellness by providing skills and strategies for behavioral and emotional support.

We offer in-person sessions for those who prefer to be out of their environment, in a neutral location where they can speak freely. In-person therapy can reduce distractions and ensure your dedicated time is optimized to meet your therapy needs. All in-person appointments are offered at our office in Whitby.
We offer virtual appointments for those who are looking for the convenience of attending therapy at a time of their choosing from a location of their choosing. Our only request is that you ensure you have a quiet, private space for your appointment.
During the warmer months, we offer walk and talk therapy for those who are looking for a change in scenery and experience the benefits of being in nature. Walk and talk therapy involves meeting your therapist at a mutually agreed upon location and walking, standing or sitting together outdoors.
Art therapy is a therapeutic practice that utilizes creative mediums such as: painting, drawing, poetry, dance and other forms of art. Creative expression can support individuals in exploring and gaining awareness into their thoughts, emotions and experiences while they communicate in non-verbal ways.
